What is Pive?

PiVE (Prime Institute for Values Education) is an altruistic project that seeks to promote values in California schools to avoid Bullying and Cyberbullying through a free 8-session program specially designed for Parents.

This program is available for everyone and is presented in both English and Spanish.

Our main objective is to be a parents’ guide to promote positive relationships through effective strategies, experiences and values, promoted from home.

PiVE has more than fifteen years of experience advising and supporting institutions to create socially healthy environments that foster an environment suitable for the social, emotional and academic development of children and young people, thus creating a virtuous circle in their lives.

Our philosophy

We believe that as a society it is our responsibility to actively commit to the prevention and control of aggression, which is strongly present in most of today’s children’s and adolescents’ interactions, affecting their daily developmental environments.

Violence will continue to prevail, unless we promote positive leadership, eliminate the aggressor’s power and educate our young people by raising their awareness about the dangers and consequences of bullying and cyberbullying.

Our proposal is a preventive intervention model that creates a socially healthy climate, based on communication, companion and fellowship, promoting useful information and activation strategies for parents, to help them strengthen their children’s self-esteem and guide them to become positive social leaders.

Our goals

  • Help children and adolescents achieve social emotional wellbeing with positive leadership skills and superior learning capacities.
  • Eliminate unsafe behavior, bullying practices and addictions, as well as lowering school absenteeism and increase the likelihood of completing higher education.
  • By strengthening family’s healthy communication channels, mutual trust and collaboration, we also strive to lower parent’s anxiety levels.
